There are many charts available showing proper breastmilk storage guidelines. We have chosen to use the Academy for Breastfeeding Medicine as our source. Note that breastmilk may be stored longer in a deep freezer however we always advise parents to use milk as close to their baby's age as possible.

In regards to workplace discrimination due to the need to pump milk for your baby we have gathered together a list of links and places to file complaints if necessary. We always recommend speaking to a supervisor first and then escalating to Human Resources as needed. If you don't get anywhere and need more assistance then filing a formal complaint may be a step you need to take.
