Tina Castellanos, MPA, IBCLC
Natural family living is not a movement, a fad, or a custom. It is about getting back to our roots as HUMANS and rediscovering the parenting skills that have sustained humans throughout history and prehistory.

Tina's story...
Tina's professional breastfeeding journey began as a La Leche League (LLL) Leader in 1999 when her first of three children was only 3 years old. Tina has led breastfeeding support groups in Austin, Killeen and Corpus Christi, and currently heads the La Leche League of San Antonio social media team while moderating the very active Facebook Group. In addition to becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Tina's passion for mother's babies and families led her to become a Bradley® Method Childbirth Educator and a DONA-Certified doula. In 2013, Tina won the San Antonio Current's Best Doula Award.
Tina earned her undergraduate degree at Texas Women's University. Her desire to continue improving the state of birth and breastfeeding for the families she serves led her to accept a Maternal and Child Health Fellowship with the University of Texas School of Public Health in 2012. In 2021, Tina completed her Master of Public Administration at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Tina is actively involved in her community and enjoys many volunteer opportunities.
Tina’s greatest accomplishments are her three wonderful children, all of whom she was able to exclusively breastfeed into toddlerhood. Tina takes great pleasure in seeing them flourish as loving humans and independent thinkers.
